Analyst Gergen
to Provide Attendees with Expert Insight
Calverton, MD—The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) and The National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) are pleased to announce the headliners for the Opening and Closing Sessions of America’s premier transportation event – the co-located 2005 IANA Intermodal Expo and NITL TransComp. This year’s Opening Session & Industry Keynote Address will be provided by C.H. Robinson Chief Executive Officer and Director John P. Wiehoff. Wiehoff will share with attendees the insight he has gained from managing numerous facets of one of North America's largest third party logistics (3PL) companies.
The Closing General Session will feature David Gergen, former White House Official, noted political analyst, and editor-at-large for U.S. News & World Report. From Nixon to Clinton, Watergate to Whitewater, few Americans have observed the ups and downs of presidential leadership more closely over the past 30 years than Gergen. A White House adviser to four presidents, both Republican and Democrat, he will offer Closing General Session attendees a vivid account of the challenges of leadership and draw key lessons for future leaders, as well as offer a perceptive post-election analysis.
The co-located 2005 IANA Intermodal Expo and NITL TransComp will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on November 12-15, 2005. IANA and NITL will also hold their annual membership meetings in conjunction with the event while the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) will conduct its fall meeting. In addition to the stimulating joint session speakers, there will be current issue forums, useful educational sessions, and excellent networking opportunities for attendees, along with a tradeshow floor overflowing with equipment, technology, and services.
