Dates Set for Transportation Industry's Premier Event of 2005
Intermodal Expo and TransComp to be Held November 12-15 in Anaheim, CA
Calverton, MD—The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) and The National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) have set the dates for America's premier transportation event – the co-located 2005 IANA Intermodal Expo and NITL TransComp. This event will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on November 12-15, 2005. IANA and NITL will also hold their annual membership meetings in conjunction with the event while the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) will conduct its fall meeting at this time.
This year's event will begin with John P. Wiehoff, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of C.H. Robinson providing attendees with the Joint Opening Session & Industry Keynote Address. Other notable meeting elements include: issues forums designed to address the timeliest and most compelling industry concerns; dedicated educational sessions that will focus on key topics facing carriers, shippers, and intermediaries; and, "Hooray for Hollywood!" a specially-themed reception – along with an unbelievable array of door prizes – that will be “produced and directed” on the trade show floor Monday evening. The Closing General Session will feature David Gergen, former White House Official, noted political analyst, and editor-at-large for U.S. News & World Report.
In addition to the great sessions, topical issue forums, useful educational sessions, and excellent networking opportunities, attendees will be offered a tradeshow floor overflowing with equipment, technology, and services designed to improve the bottom line of attendees’ businesses.
